BES adds three new mains distribution products to its range

BES is delighted to announce the upcoming launch of three new and innovative products for the broadcast industry.

Three new mains distribution units have been added to the growing range, providing more varieties and options for businesses in the broadcast sector.

Two of the new mains distribution units have been manufactured with an integrated mains filter to guarantee a clean signal when powering rack systems. These will be available for purchasing as either a 10 amp or 16 amp unit.

The third item in the new range is a 32 amp mains distribution unit, with 12 individually fused 6 amp outputs. This new higher powered unit is aimed at todays’ need for greater power capacity and the input is with a Neutrik power-con connector with loop through capability.

All three units are housed in a 19” 1RU rack mounted chassis and include an accessible front fuses panel with a maximum of 6 amp. They also feature a 2 pole main input switch and 110 – 230 VAC with a black finish.

Darren Fuller, Sales Manager at BES said: “We are very excited to be offering this new product range to the broadcasting sector. Over the last three years we have seen a rise in demand for products which can provide a greater level of power to keep up with technological and social changes in the industry.

“Providing these quality products will now enable businesses to easily manage and keep up with the modern day broadcasting tasks.”

DEM Manufacturing developed the products after research suggested that technological changes such as superfast broadband has quickened the pace of the industry. Therefore it was vital for new mains distribution units to be designed to cope with the increasing speed expectations.

The new products will be launched at this years’ IBC Trade Fair in Amsterdam on Thursday 11 September.
