DEM Manufacturing is the U.K.´s leading manufacturer of EMC / RFI filters branded Roxburgh EMC, including industrial filters and general EMC filters.

Roxburgh industrial filters range include single-phase filters, three-phase filters, and three-phase and neutral filters from 1 Amp to 1600 Amp.

The general EMC filters range includes IEC inlet filters, chassis mounting filters and PCB filters. In addition, Roxburgh offers a wide range of EMC components; EMC chokes (common mode and differential mode), spark quenchers and open toroidal chokes.

All Roxburgh EMC filters are designed and tested to meet Directive 2006/95/EC and UL1283 product safety standards. Approvals held include: UL, CSA, VDE etc.

Custom Design - For over 40 years, DEM Manufacturing has been designing and manufacturing cost-effective custom solutions, both industrial filters and general EMC filters, for some of the world´s leading OEM´s.

Typical applications for industrial filters include machine tools (KMFA), HVAC (KMFA), drives (MIF3) and generators (KMF). More recently DEM has developed EMC filters for induction lighting applications (RES3 and RES5).

Roxburgh also offer Military EMC Filters — designed to meet both Military and Defence standards MIL461E and DEF59-41 respectively.

Unique to DEM, the Deltron brand of diecast enclosures includes a range of RFI screened aluminium enclosures, which DEM can machine and finish to exacting customer specifications.

EMC, Climatic and Harmonic Testing

As a necessary part of the DEM compliance service, DEM laboratories and test sites are fitted out comprehensively. Conducted and radiated emissions´ testing is carried out in order to validate the actual performance of systems under strict Test House conditions for EMC type approval. In addition, DEM also offers on-site evaluation for customers who are unable to bring their equipment to these facilities.

CSA22.2 No.8 climatic testing is performed within our onsite test and conditioning facility.
